CHENNAI: Playback singer SP Balasubrahmanyam, who is undergoing treatment for Covid-19 in the ICU of MGM Healthcare in Chennai, on Friday wrote “Love you all” on a paper with a pen, bringing smiles on the faces of doctors and nurses taking care of him.
Two days ago, SPB’s son and producer SP Charan said his father was trying communicate to him by writing something but he could not hold the pen. On Friday, the 74-year-old singer left the nursing team thrilled by writing the three words on a paper. He even wrote down names of some doctors and nurses.
Doctors treating him said the passive physiotherapy and the intensive care were beginning to show good results. “He is still critical, but is lot better,” said a senior doctor.
During the day, the singer listens to his favourite hymns and songs.
