As the Central and state governments allow phase-wise relaxation in curbs to get the life up and running again following over two months of lockdown to prevent the spread of Covid-19, we bring you the latest updates from your city.
* Update at 9.36am: Number of active Covid-19 cases in India stands at 4,85,114, while 9,17,567 people have recovered, reports PTI quoting Union health ministry
* Update at 9.19am: India’s Covid-19 tally stands at 14,35,453 with 49,931 new cases and 708 more deaths, reports ANI quoting health ministry
*A serological survey conducted Delhi earlier this month revealed that nearly every fourth Delhiite has developed antibodies against the novel coronavirus.
* Update at 7.48am: Prayers being offered at Prachin Shiva Temple in Connaught Place on fourth Monday of Sawan month

* Update at 6.15am: Devotees offer prayers at Gauri Shankar Temple in Chandni Chowk on the fourth Monday of ‘Sawan’ month

*The total number of positive cases in Delhi crossed the 1.3 lakh mark, with 1,075 fresh cases being recorded on Sunday.
*Last month, Delhi was staring at 5.5 lakh cases by the end of July, but the positive count seemingly plateaued and hadn’t even reached 1.5 lakh yet.
*From a daily average of around 91 deaths due to Covid-19 in the first half of June to about 50 in July, Delhi witnessed a sharp decline of 44% in mortality.
*Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is likely to announce a series of initiatives next week for the city’s economic revival, which will include the launch of a jobs portal and focus on getting all business activity to resume, including malls and hotels.
